Begin mountain ascent through small villages/towns, you'll also have the opportunity to see a historic fortress built in the 16th century and Parque Independencia where you can take a walk through the Cathedral. In addition to all this, the guide will provide beverages throughout the excursion including rum punch, local beer, sodas, or bottled water for your convenience. The summit of Mount Isabella de Torres will take you nearly 3000 feet above sea level. Next, you'll head to the vibrant and iconic Umbrella Street. With its lively atmosphere, colorful shops, and umbrellas hanging overhead, it’s a bustling area full of photo opportunities. After a leisurely stroll down Umbrella Street, you'll continue to Paseo de Doña Blanca (also known as Pink Street) and then to Parque Independencia (Central Park). At Central Park, your guide will share insights about the Dominican Republic’s fight for independence, the restoration period, and the national heroes of that time. You'll also have the chance to enter the cathedral located in the park before enjoying some free time to take photos and soak in the surroundings.

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
