After taking the tender boat from your ship to shore, you’ll meet your English-speaking guide just outside the Belize cruise tender terminal. Following check-in, you’ll be escorted to your exclusive, air-conditioned transportation for a comfortable 60-minute ride into the heart of the Belizean jungle. Upon arrival at the zipline base camp, you'll be outfitted with a harness, helmet, and gloves, along with safety instructions to ensure you’re fully prepared. For added security, there’s a double cable system, so you’ll be clipped onto two lines for backup safety. After a brief practice run on the beginner zipline, your guide will lead the group to the next platform. Once clipped onto the line, you’ll be whisked away to the next platform, where another guide will assist you. You’ll continue this exciting journey through the rainforest, zipping across seven different lines, some stretching up to 1,000 feet in length.
After taking in the breathtaking views from above, it’s time to explore the jungle’s river caves from the water at Caves Branch. Before heading out on your kayaking adventure, your Belizean guide will provide a life vest, helmet, headlamp, and paddle, along with a brief safety briefing. Then, enjoy a short 30-minute hike to the riverbed. At booking, you can choose between a single kayak for one person or a double kayak for two. Following the gentle river current, your guide will lead you through a maze of four different caverns, where you'll marvel at the stunning stalactites and other unique formations. Keep an eye out for tropical birds, butterflies, monkeys, and iguanas near the cave entrances. Fairytale-like waterfalls and sparkling caverns make this an unforgettable experience. The paddling is easy, and you’ll navigate at a relaxed pace.
After returning to base camp, you’ll have the option to purchase and enjoy a delicious lunch of rice and beans with chicken, cole slaw, and fruit juice. Then, relax as you make your way back to the transportation for a scenic ride back to your Belize cruise ship tender terminal, where you can either hop on a tender back to your ship or explore the port area at your leisure.
