Catch some sun when you dock in St. Maarten, the Dutch side of the island. Enjoy a ride to the French side of the island, St. Martin, and have free time on Grand Case Beach.
You'll meet your transportation outside your St. Maarten cruise terminal. The drive to the beach is about 40 minutes and once there you'll have 3 hours to enjoy the day as you like. Grand Case is a small fishing village on the French side of the island. It's situated on the Anguilla Channel on the west coast of the island and boasts a beautiful, long, white sand beach with far less crowds than the Dutch side.
This part of the island is famous for its gourmet restaurants and beach bars. It's rightfully been named the "Gourmet Capital of the Caribbean". You'll also find an amazing variety of Lolo eateries. "Lolo" is a nickname for the dozens of small, informal restaurants located on the beach or side of the road. Here you can find delicious food and eat off picnic tables. Live like a local for the day. There are plenty of places to enjoy a refreshing beverage or delicious meal along the beach (not included).
Just kick back and soak in the natural beauty and the views of the aqua blue water. The turquoise waters of the Caribbean are crystal clear here. On a calm day, you can see the nearby island of Anguilla.
Once your Grand Case Beach Excursion comes to an end, you'll be returned to your St. Maarten cruise ship meeting point.
Relax and let the sun, sand, and ocean refresh you at Grand Case Beach on the French side of the island, located away from the crowds.
