Your day begins with meeting your guide for check-in just a short 5-minute taxi ride away. Once checked in, get ready for your exciting cruise toward the breathtaking glaciers of Alaska! This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to capture the beautiful landscapes and wildlife of Alaska, so have your camera ready!
Your adventure starts as you pass through Resurrection Bay towards Bear Glacier (visibility dependent on weather conditions). Bear Glacier, the longest glacier in Kenai Fjords National Park, features an iceberg field lagoon. Enjoy this natural marvel safely and take stunning photos of the icy formations.
Next, you’ll cruise through the Gulf of Alaska and pass by Harris Bay to visit the impressive Northwestern Glacier. This tidewater glacier has been steadily receding over the past century, revealing several islands in the fjord that were previously covered in ice. Now, you can admire the vast wildlife, including orca whales, humpback whales, Steller sea lions, harbor seals, puffins, eagles, and many species of seabirds. To enhance your onboard experience, enjoy complimentary coffee, tea, and water throughout the excursion, along with a delicious lunch of your choice: turkey, roast beef, or vegetarian sandwiches. Additional snacks and drinks are available for purchase on the cruise.
The excursion is fully narrated by your experienced captain and designed for small groups, providing the best chance to interact with and ask questions of our knowledgeable crew. After a full day exploring the Alaskan cold and mysterious waters, you will return to your meeting point, where a free shuttle will take you back to your cruise ship terminal.
