Enjoy this eco-friendly excursion through Roatan's wild side. You will explore the jungle as you cross walkways and treetop suspension bridges. This excursion also includes zip lining and a relaxing beach break in West Bay. Adventure and relaxation are guaranteed in this super combo excursion!

Your day will begin once you meet your guide outside your cruise ship terminal. You will be welcome aboard the air-conditioned transportation that will take you on a 20-minute ride to the location. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive, you will be there in no time!

You will be amazed as you arrive at a jungle movie-like ambiance. The park is home to many wildlife such as iguanas, tropical birds, and lizards as well as fruit trees, hanging vines, and much more. You will begin your hike through the walkways and bridges. For the next 45 minutes, your guide will point out the flora and fauna along the way. You will cross the walkways that are concrete with wooden steps and rails. The 7 suspension bridges on the trees are 4 feet wide and have a capacity of 10 people at a time. They range in length from 150 to 200 feet, rated the strongest and longest in the western Caribbean. You will be treated to some amazing views.

The next part of your adventure shore excursion in Roatan takes you to one of the best zip-line canopy outfits. With 16 platforms set up in the jungle trees, this zip line course was constructed with safety and fun in mind. The experienced certified guides will explain everything before getting you in your harness and have you follow them out to the first platform. You will be giving your safety equipment, and your guide will clip your harness to the cable. Gravity will pull you to the next platform where another guide will be waiting for. You will zip along from platform to platform with highly trained guides assisting for each take-off and landing. There are a total of 13 zip lines waiting to amaze you!

Once your group has finished the zip-lining portion of this eco-tour, your guide will take you back to your transportation that will take you to yet another scenic drive to West Bay where you will enjoy a relaxing beach break.

West Bay is the largest and most popular bay in Honduras. Tourists and locals gather here to enjoy the white sandy beaches, water sports, diving, snorkeling, and much more! You will enjoy the rest of your day at one of the beach clubs where you may purchase some cold drinks and snacks. There are chairs and umbrellas that you may rent but you can also stretch out in the comfy sand. Work on your tan, take a stroll down the beach or simply relax. The day is yours to enjoy. You will have 2 hours at the beach and your guide will let you know when it will be time to return to your cruise ship terminal. Guests who would like to spend more time at the beach are more than welcome to, and you may get a taxi back to your cruise ship terminal (at your own expense).

• Guests may bring their snorkel gear.

Where we meet

For this Roatan Eco Walkways, Treetop Suspension Bridges and Zip Line, and Beach Break Adventure Excursion you will meet at your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 5 years old.
• The maximum weight per participant is 310 lbs (140 kg).
• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible or not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
• Observer rates apply for ages 3 years and up. Infants 2 years and under may go along and wait for no cost.
• Ziplining tandem (two people at the same time) is just allowed with a guide.
• This Roatan Eco Walkways, Treetop Suspension Bridges, Zip Line, and Beach Break Adventure Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
