Your friendly Ocho Rios shore excursion staff will meet you right outside your cruise ship pier, get you checked in, and be on the way to your fun combo day excursion. The air-conditioned transportation will take you first along the scenic road of Ocho Rios to Fern Gully. The lush, green vegetation forms a tunnel over the roadway. Experts note that there are over 300 varieties of ferns here.

Your next stop will be at a local Jamaican crafts market where you can find handmade items, along with duty-free shopping at Soni's Plaza and Taj Mahal Complex.

Dunns River Falls is one of Jamaica's most iconic natural wonders and a climb up the falls is on many must-do lists. The specially trained Ocho Rios cruise excursion guides will explain that you will join hands and form a human chain to climb the falls better. Those guests who wish to skip the climb may wait at the bottom in one of the cool collection pools. There are people watching, you may swim and just relax.

There are shops to browse for souvenirs, woodcarving items, straw crafts, and other art pieces at Dunn's River Craft Park. Then enjoy a meal of delicious jerk chicken, jerk pork, and the local's favorite - cornmeal festival or roast yam or rice/peas. Definitely an experience of a lifetime!!! After your excursion, your guide and transportation will take you back to the meeting point at the Ocho Rios cruise ship pier when your shore excursion is finished.

Note that there is a minimum of 2 adults needed. It is suggested to tip the Fall's guide $2.00 USD per person, not included in the excursion price.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you bring a swimsuit, towel, sturdy shoes to climb falls, sun protection, bug spray, cash for shopping, food/beverages, tips, etc.
  
• The suggested tip for Fall's guide is $2.00 USD per person.
  
• Please note that the changing rooms at Dunn's River are located within the park. Guests will not be allowed to exit the park to leave items in the transportation. Lockers are available to rent for $8.00 USD with $3.00 USD refundable.
  
• If anyone from your group does not show up without the required prior notice, you will need to pay 20% of their balance as well (directly to the operator as a no-show penalty).

Excursion Restrictions

• Mobility-challenged guests may wait at the bottom of the river falls
• Small children may find the climb difficult - parents need to determine if this excursion is suitable.
• There are no motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooter-accessible vehicles available.
  

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
