Get ready to explore one of Kotor's most famous attractions, the stunning Blue Cave, and its crystal-clear waters!
Your unforgettable day begins when you meet your friendly guide at the designated meeting point. After assisting you with check-in, your guide will help you board your comfortable speedboat for the adventure ahead. With the wind in your hair, you’ll cruise the beautiful open sea, taking in panoramic views of Perast, Our Lady of the Rocks, Tivat, Porto Montenegro, and Herceg Novi.
As your journey continues, you’ll pass Mamula Island, home to a 19th-century Austro-Hungarian fortress that was used as a prison during both World Wars. Although entry is not possible due to ongoing renovations, your skipper will share fascinating insights into the island’s history.
Next, you’ll reach the Blue Cave, an impressive natural wonder that spans approximately 300 square meters. The cave features two entrances, both accessible by boat. The cave's striking blue glow comes from sunlight refracting at the perfect angle, causing the water to shine from below. Get ready to take a refreshing dive, soak in the blue light, and swim in the crystal-clear waters. We recommend wearing snorkeling masks to explore the underwater world, and life jackets will be provided for beginners if needed!
On your return journey to Kotor, you’ll visit the famous Our Lady of the Rocks islet, which you passed earlier in the excursion. Your guide will share captivating stories about this artificial island, and you’ll have the opportunity to visit its museum. Please note that the entrance fee to the museum is not included in the excursion price. The entrance fee to Lady of the Rocks is not included, the approximate cost is about 1.5 euros per person.
After your visit to Our Lady of the Rocks and the rest of the excursion, your professional crew will take you back to your meeting point. From there, you can choose to continue exploring independently or return to your cruise terminal.
