Get away from the cruise ship crowds and come discover the beauty of Maui’s beautiful waterfalls and mystic bamboo jungle.
You will meet your guide a short walk from your Kahului Maui cruise ship terminal, where your guide will greet you. Step aboard the comfortable, air-conditioned transportation and head out to get your adventure shore excursion started. During your drive, your guide will provide fun, interesting facts about Hawaiian culture.
As you arrive at your destination your guide will brief you on the do’s and don’ts of the area. Your guide will lead you through a beautiful bamboo forest as you hike, rock hop, or climb your way through the bamboo forest to the many pools and waterfalls around it. However, the forest itself is a wonder that must be admired.
Bamboo stalks are everywhere and line the pathway you will be hiking. Bamboo is a fast-growing plant and can reach heights of up to 39 feet. These forests play an integral role in the ecosystem. On the hike, you will be able to see loads of ferns, and you may even spot some edible flowers, amongst other bright and beautiful fauna.
Swim, sunbathe, and jump off rocks, there is also optional cliff jumping available in various locations during this adventurous tour. Gopro photography is included for those who are interested in taking this memorable event home! This excursion has something for those who want a challenging obstacle course or a relaxing waterfall lounge day.
As your adventure shore excursion comes to an end, your guide will take you back to the original meeting point. From this point, you can walk back to your Kahului cruise ship terminal.
Where we meet
For this Kahului Maui Jungle Waterfall Excursion, you will meet your guide within a short walking distance from the Kahului Maui cruise pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Kahului Maui Jungle Waterfall Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
