Your meeting point for this Snorkeling Cruise Excursion in Ensenada is just a short walk right outside your cruise terminal. The English-speaking shore excursion guides will be waiting to get you checked in, to the transportation, and on your way for a fun day. Your destination is a 45-minute ride along the coastline of Ensenada. The route will take you through the city, the outskirts, and then to a gorgeous hidden cove on the Pacific Ocean. Along the way, your guide will be giving you information about the excursion, what you can expect to see, and the Baja area.

When the bumpy road opens up and reveals your destination, it will amaze you. Playa Arbolitos (Little Trees Beach) is made up of smooth, wave-worn rocks. The base camp is set up and ready. Your snorkeling guides will pass out your snorkeling gear (it is all included), show you how to use it, and then help you get the gear on. There is a natural stone ramp that makes entering the water simple and easy.

Snorkeling at Playa Arbolitos offers guests a much different type of marine life, unlike anything you have seen before. The cove has a large kelp forest growing up to the water's surface. There are lots of colorful fish including the Garibaldis that live in the cove. You will most likely get to see some of the resident sea lions, they will keep a respectable distance on this snorkel shore excursion in Ensenada.

Snorkeling is safe and the guide will point out some of the interesting sights along the way. When you return to the beach, the transportation will take you back to the meeting point.

Once the snorkeling excursion is over, you will be taken back to your cruise ship pier in Ensenada.

Guests who wish to be observers will stay on the beach while snorkel participants are in the water. Keep in mind the price is the same.

Ensenada beach sea temperatures range from 19 to 23C / 66 to 73F, warmest in September and lowest in February.

• Please note that transportation is NOT included. The transportation cost is $13.00USD per person to be paid to your local guide in cash at the meeting point the day of the excursion.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 8 years old.
• Guests need to know how to swim and be comfortable in the water.
• Guests who are pregnant and have other medical issues including recent surgery, heart problems, history of stroke or blackouts, etc. may not participate.
• All guests must complete and pass a strict medical waiver before this excursion.
• This excursion is not wheelchair friendly.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
