Enjoy your day in Cozumel on this great sailing, snorkeling, and beach time adventure! You'll cruise along the beautiful waters of the north side of Cozumel and stop for snorkeling on a reef that the captain will select on the day of sailing. All gear is included so your only worry is to have fun. Then you will continue sailing to the northern part of the island to visit and enjoy a secluded beach. If the weather allows you can also enjoy a spinnaker ride. This couldn't be a better day!

One of the best ways to explore Cozumel is to sail across the crystal clear water surrounding it. From your Cozumel cruise port, you will grab a taxi for a short drive to Puerto de Abrigo where you will board your 35 ft trimaran with up to 28 guests comfortable capacity, however, since we want you to fully enjoy this adventure, the limit is 16-17 passengers which means you will have plenty space and personal attention. Once onboard, you will begin sailing to the north. Sit back and relax on the ride while enjoying the sea breeze and the magnificent views.

You'll arrive at a bay close to Passion Island where you will snorkel close to some coral heads. Your guide will give you the snorkeling gear, provide instructions for the first-timers and show you how to use the equipment to enjoy approximately 30 minutes of reef exploration. Have some fun jumping into the water or you can simply use the boat ladder. You'll be amazed by the beautiful marine life, including tropical fish, awesome coral formations, sponges, lobsters, and many more!

After the snorkeling, you will board again the trimaran and sail to the south side to the famous Passion Island where you will enjoy some nice beach time in a beautiful remote sandbar. You can stay on the boat, enjoy the beach or go on a small adventure by boarding a dinghy to explore the area! Whatever you choose, we can assure you that you'll have a blast. After your beach time, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch grilled by your captain. You can choose from mouthwatering arrachera beef fajitas, chicken wings, veggie pasta, and much more! Choose your favorite spot on the boat and enjoy your lunch while you admire the pristine blue waters and the stunning landscape you are in. Then it would be time to return, however, the fun is not over. If the weather allows and if you are adventurous enough, you can enjoy a spinnaker ride!

The trimaran will return back to the dock when the excursion is complete. If you need a taxi to get back to your Cozumel cruise port, just ask your guide, they would be more than happy to help you.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you wear a swimsuit under comfortable clothes, a camera, a towel, and cash for balance payment, taxis, tips, souvenirs, etc.
• In order to help fight the spread of White Band coral syndrome, we recommend you avoid using sunscreen and wear a long-sleeved filtering shirt, hat, and sunglasses. Coral, fish and all other sea creatures thank you for your cooperation!

Where we meet

For the Cozumel Catamaran Sailing Adventure Excursion, you will meet directly at Puerto de Abrigo Marina (approximate taxi cost from Punta Langosta is $8 for a cab of 4 people and $16 from Puerta Maya and International Terminal). There are plenty of taxis available at the cruise terminals and local operator can arrange your way back to your cruise terminal. All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Some restrictions for water sports may apply to pregnant women and those guests with high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes and/or similar. Please consult a medical professional for more information about safe participation in this activity.
• People under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or similar substances that may prevent safe enjoyment, are not allowed to participate in water sports activities for their own safety.
• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
• The minimum to participate in this excursion is 5 years old. Children must be attended to by a parent or guardian at all times and cannot be left unattended on the boat.
• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
