An air-conditioned mini-coach will be ready to start a lovely 90-minute drive to downtown Seville. Your Seville sightseeing cruise shore excursion guide will give you an educational, entertaining, and interesting insight into this historical city which today is the financial and cultural center of southern Spain.

As soon as you approach Seville City you will enjoy gorgeous views and a 45-minute panoramic excursion will show you the true highlights of this quaint town. The scenic excursion of Seville begins from "Palm Trees Avenue" and continues all along the Guadalquivir River.

You will have the opportunity to see and learn about the bullring of Seville, its construction, and its stories. Then your official Cadiz shore excursion guide will take you to Spain Square, where you will make the first stop to admire the beauty of this square and then to Maria Luisa Park to take some pictures. You will head to the Golden Tower where the walking tour will start. The walking portion is approximately 2 hours in total time, but not all of it is spent walking. 

You will visit the Jewish Quarter, also called Saint Cross, where you will spend around 30 minutes navigating through the little narrow streets. This area is known for its numerous squares filled with orange trees. You can stop for a treat in one of the numerous cafes which this district is so well reputed including the famous Seville orange marmalade!

The Royal Alcazar Palace is next on the walking sightseeing shore excursion route. It is renowned as one of the most beautiful palaces in Spain, being the most outstanding example of Mudejar architecture found on the Iberian Peninsula. You will get to go inside this unique palace. Your knowledgeable Seville sightseeing excursion guide will narrate the stories about the hidden secrets of this 10th-century Moorish fortress. There are incredible indoor gardens, fountains, and handcrafted walls. 

Your journey continues on to the Cathedral of Seville. It is the third-largest cathedral in the world. First, you will admire the orange tree indoor garden of the Cathedral and will appreciate the beauty of Giralda Tower (climbing is optional if your physical condition allows you, you can catch incredible views from the top). 

After the visit to the Cathedral, you will have approximately 30 minutes to do some shopping and photo-taking, before heading back to Cadiz. 

Along the way back to your Cadiz cruise terminal, your shore excursion guide will conduct a 20-minute panoramic tour for the highlights of Cadiz City just before you are dropped off at the cruise ship pier gate.

Please note that due to the amount of walking/travel on uneven surfaces, this excursion is not suitable for wheelchairs or strollers.

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
