This truly is a "royal" excursion...Prince Harry visited El Castillo "The Castle" at Xunantunich in March 2012. The name Xunantunich comes from the Mayan language and means "Stone Woman", the archeological site stands almost 183 meters above sea level and it consists of four major architectural groups. Get ready to get marveled at the stucco frieze adorning the upper walls of the ancient Maya structure, highlighting the mask of the deities, the jaguar, serpents, and more.
Your guide will lead you through the ruins pointing out sites and giving you background and history about them. Have your camera ready, since there are some amazing views from the top of different ruins.
After enjoying this amazing day, your private transportation will take you back to the Belize tender terminal.
Make sure that you reserve early. Availability for Private Mayan Excursions is limited!
